Classes are held in the Rebecca Stafford Student Center on the campus of Monmouth University. According to Bulvanoski, “[Monmouth University’s campus] not only provides me with the physical facilities needed to conduct my classes, but also gives my high school students a taste of the college environment."
“Bulvanoski is a past president of the Oceanport Board of Education ... and the Monmouth County School Boards Association. She has a master’s degree in teaching English [and her math teachers are experienced mathematics professionals]."

Through a program organized by the Monmouth University Admission Department and paid for “courtesy of a grant from the Johnson and Johnson Corp. in New Brunswick,” Clear Advantage Prep Services offers SAT prep workshop and summer programs to selected area high school students from Abbott districts. “The corporate support keep[s] the sessions going, and allow[s] the university to reach more students who might otherwise find getting into colleges a struggle…”

“Long Branch High School juniors attended the Clear Advantage SAT Workshop hosted by the Monmouth University Student Center …University officials explained that they hope to facilitate more access to higher education through the SAT program. They said that the program demonstrates the university’s valued connection with the local community…The program is administered by Monmouth University faculty member Mary Bulvanoski, along with other Clear Advantage SAT instructors. Bulvanoski owns and operates Clear Advantage, a private SAT tutoring company.”
